How traceability works
Every lot and serial number follows the item through its entire journey — from the supplier to the customer — with no manual tracking required.
Goods receipt
Enter the supplier lot number, expiry date, and date of manufacture at receiving. Done MRP links this data to the inventory record immediately.
Into stock
Tracked at warehouse, location, and bin level. Lot quantities are stored separately from other stock of the same item.
Production issue
When components are issued to a production order, the lot numbers consumed are recorded and the genealogy link between input and output lots is created.
Shipment
When finished goods are shipped, the lot or serial number on the delivery is logged. One click shows the full trace — back to the raw material.
